In order to achieve the instrument specified accuracy it is vital that the correct tripod is used. The construction and weight of the tripod have a major influence on providing a stable platform for the instrument.
The tripods are available with either wooden or aluminium legs. The wooden types have excellent vibration damping characteristics. The aluminium tripods are light weight and completely resistant to conditions of high humidity. |

These Construction Tripods are available in wood (CTP101) and aluminium (CTP103). Manufactured in China with Leica specifications, these heavy duty tripods offer a low cost alternative. No spare parts are available for the CTP range. |
