Leica Instrument Explorer enables you to exchange data from a total station and GPS1200 to your Pocket PC or vice versa, at your very own convenience of time and location. Leica Editor enables you to view text files (e.g. coordinate files, measurement files) on the Pocket PC. The additional features e-mail and File Transfer Protocol (FTP) gives you the possibility of exchanging files between a desktop computer with remote access and the Pocket PC on the Internet.

Leica Instrument Explorer
The Instrument Explorer manages data exchange between TPS and the Pocket PC in an easy-to-use interface that provides:
- Data exchange of instrument data (coordinates, measurements, codelists and formats) between total station and Pocket PC
- Flexible data formats for coordinates and measurements
- Remote access to office PC via FTP
- Send (and receive) data to the office via e-mail

The Leica Editor enables you to view and edit any ASCII file on your Pocket PC.

To install Leica Instrument Explorer unzip the downloaded file, and then execute the program. The next time you perform an ActiveSync with your Pocket PC the application will be installed on your Pocket PC.
