Even without knowing how to operate a theodolite or total station, it is now possible to measure and record measurements to inaccessible points 1:1 (such as those on a facade). A totally new method of measurement has evolved.
Current instruments could not be used on particular sites where the non-contact acquisition of data is essential. Other laborious techniques were adapted but were indeed time consuming and complex.
In order to avoid damaging any existing structures, a completely new method of measurement is now possible when using the T460D. It can be used in many possible applications without reflective tape. Professional use of the instrument is supported by software designed to store and convert measurements to CAD (Autocad) drawings.
- Existing building dimensions before new construction work starts
- Extensions and changes to industrial plants
- Locations of machines in manufacturing halls
- Adapting winter gardens
- Measurements taken from shops and storerooms
- Measuring listed buildings
- Even without software, the X, Y, and Z coordinates are displayed in metres!
