Leica IPAS Freebird offers the easiest way to achieve accurate image georeferencing by using GNSS raw meas-urements and tightly coupled GNSS-IMU processing in one step. Previously, GNSS-IMU processing for accurate image georeferencing required two steps: In a first step, GNSS trajectory was processed using GrafNav/GrafNet software. This required a continuous lock of 5 or more satellites. In a second step, IPAS Pro blended the trajec-tory with the IMU data. |
