We try to attract diverse workforce through providing support for many trainees, young professionals and students from all over the world. In response to the growing number of international employees working at Heerbrugg, we are a sponsor of the International School Rheintal in Buchs. Through this partnership, children of expatriate employees are able to continue their education as smoothly as possible.
Leica Geosystems also sponsors a local child-care center in Widnau, near our headquarters, resulting in secured places at subsidized rates for Leica Geosystems employees. In this way we want to help and keep working mothers in our workforce.
Leica Geosystems believes in investing in the future. With close to 70 apprentices in Heerbrugg, we are an important provider of apprenticeships in the Rhine Valley region. Training for apprentices is available in the areas of mechanics, electronics, IT, construction, commerce and retailing.
