Creating high-precision GNSS coverage of Réunion, a French territory in the Indian Ocean, was an interesting challenge which led to a network with short inter-station distances. The tropical location of the island is unfavorable in terms of ionospheric activity and a wide range of meteorological conditions can cause tropospheric variations that are challenging to manage.
