The R&D Centre for High-Accuracy GNSS Position Engineering located at Leica Geosystem’s headquarters in Heerbrugg, Switzerland is responsible for developing algorithm solutions for RTK, Network RTK, Post-Processing and Machine Control applications.
To work on our next genereation GNSS products we are searching now for a
GNSS algorithm specialist with software engineering competence
Your main tasks include:
The development and implementation of high-accuracy GNSS RTK algorithms in C++
GNSS data analysis and problem solving
Algorithm testing and tuning
Product support and lifecycle management
Authoring and presenting technical articles such as journal and conference papers as required
Your profile:
A higher degree (PhD or MSc.) in Satellite Geodesy, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or other related fields
Two or more years of practical experience engineering GNSS positioning algorithms for commercial applications
Relevant experience in Kalman filtering, multi-GNSS signal processing and ambiguity resolution is an advantage
OOP design and C++ software engineering experience for real-time applications using Microsoft Visual Studio. Development experience on the Linux platform is an advantage
Excellent analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools (e.g. MATLAB, Excel)
Excellent English language skills (written and spoken)
Proficient German language skills or a willingness to learn German
