| ME Firmware Upload Information |
|
Wrong almanac information regarding the decommissioned GLONASS satellite Slot 6 can cause the GX1200 GG, GRX1200 GG, GMX902 GG, ATX1230 GG and ATX900 GG products to lose tracking on all satellites. The wrong GLONASS almanac is transmitted on several GLONASS satellites since midnight April 28th 2010. Units where GLONASS is not activated are not affected. Only those units with ME firmware version 3.016 and higher are affected.
In order to overcome the tracking issues, the upload of a new free of charge ME firmware version (3.019) is strongly recommended. |
