| The winner of the second annual POB "Highlights in Surveying" project contest was announced in the June 2006 issue of Point of Beginning magazine and the winning project featured both Leica HDS scanning and a Leica TCRA 1103+ total station. The project, which covered a 2 year time span, involved surveying a complex new building structure and relied heavily on high-definition surveying. The June issue of POB included both an article about the winning project entitled "Supporting a Dream Design," by Mitchell Wimbush, the leader of the award-winning project for Midwestern Consulting, and a page of editor comments on why this project won the award. |
