Easy Communication
With GIS DataHandler, establishing communications and transferring files from your GPS receiver is easier than ever. DataHandler provides tools for connecting to and communicating with Leica GS20 and GS50/50+ GPS units via Bluetooth, serial cable, or by writing directly to the unit’s removable flash media card. With DataHandler you can easily transfer all file types supported by the GPS system including: collected GPS jobs, waypoint projects, codelists, antenna definitions, coordinate systems, CSCS files, geoid files, GS20 background maps, firmware, and log files.
Easy to Use
GIS DataHandler offers an intuitive interface that is easy to learn and use. The DataHandler controls provide access to functions via pull-down menus, toolbar buttons, and context menus as well as supporting copy / paste and double-click functionality. An online help system is provided with the software that explains all functions step-by-step. The intuitive nature of DataHandler’s controls makes it possible to deploy with little or no training.
Easy to Get
GIS DataHandler is already available as part of the GIS DataPRO installation. Now, with the release of the stand-alone install it will be made available for download (see downloadbox beside) or on CD.
Note: Customers that have installed GIS DataPRO version 3 do not need to install the Stand-alone GIS DataHandler. Those customers already have the software available along side their GIS DataPRO programs, and the functions of GDH are available from DataPRO’s Sensor Transfer module. It is recommended that GIS DataPRO users Update to the latest build of GDP 3, build 318. This will update DataHandler as well.
